The all-volunteer, completely non-profit Aspen Thrift Shop was founded in 1949. Annual grants totaling a half million dollars are awarded to other non-profits in the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond. Proceeds from ASPEN COOKS! will be donated exactly the same way!
The all volunteer Thrift Shop of Aspen is Aspen’s original recycling center. Since 1949, the ladies of The Thrift Shop have been supporting non-profit organizations throughout the Roaring Fork valley by selling goods generously donated by this community. In addition, the Thrift Shop has gives 6 two year college scholarships to Roaring Fork high school area graduates who represent the Thrift Shop spirit of participation, community service and volunteerism.
Your donations have have allowed us to donate over TWO AND A HALF MILLION DOLLARS since the year 2000 to non-profits in our community. Clearly, your recycled goods make an incredible impact! Keep them coming and continue making a difference.
