Thrift Shop Directory Spot

The Aspen Thrift Shop is now using Directory Spot to share volunteer’s information and keep the daily schedules.

Everyone automatically has an account with Directory Spot and can update their own information and see schedules and other volunteers informations.

What is DirectorySpot?

It is a way to share our daily schedules and volunteer contact information easily.
Do I have to pay for it?
No, it is free for you to access.
Why is the Thrift Shop using Directory Spot?

  • You can edit your own information! (Using the website version)

Do I have to set up an account?
Your account is already created with the email you have on file with the Thrift Shop but you have to reset your password. See directions below for setting your password. If you have problems, we may have an incorrect email address on file. Please contact web@aspenthriftshop.org
Do I have to set up my own password?
Yes, the first time you login you have to click the ‘Reset Password’ button. You will receive an email to reset your password.
What will my username be?
Your username is your email that the Thrift Shop has on file.
What if I forget my password?
You can click, Reset Password on Directoryspot.net and they will send you a link to reset your password.
How do I finish setting up my account?
Your account has already been set up but you have to reset your password first and download DirectorySpot for free from the App Store or GooglePlay on to your smartphone.
Using your Computer to Reset your Password
  1. Go to the website: directoryspot.net on your computer
  2. Click “Login” in the upper right hand corner
  3. Type in your email address for Username (Use the email address we have on file)
  4. Click “Reset Password”
  5. Click “Reset Password” again
  6. Check your email for a message from DirectorySpot (Check Spam and Junk folders)
  7. In the email click Reset Password Button to set your password and login
  8. Type in a password of your choosing twice and click Save Password Button
  9. Try to login on website and go to your smart phone and download the directory spot app. (See directions below)

How do I download the Directory App on my iPhone?

  1. Download Directory Spot App
    1. Open this email on your iPhone and click this link to get to the app  http://goo.gl/5U2Tzq
    2. Tap Get (Download it, it is free) You may have to enter in your Apple ID password
  2. Open the App once it is on your iPhone
  3. Type in your email address under Username
  4. Type in your Password
  5. Next to Save Password Slide the white dot to the right so you don’t have to type in your password every time
  6. Tap Login

    2. Open the App once it is on your Phone
  2. Type in your email address under Username
  3. Type in your password

What is the difference between accessing the Thrift Shop Directory via the Smart Phone App and using a computer?
You can see schedules and volunteers information in both places however certain features can only be accessed on your phone or computer.
